A man has died after a crash on the M25.

The incident happened between junction 5 and junction 6 near Godstone at 11.15pm on the clockwise carriageway.

A 58-year-old man who was driving a VW Transporter man died at the scene.

The road was closed until 5am while police investigated.

Surrey Police are appealing for motorists who witnessed the crash, stopped at the scene to provide assistance or have any information which can assist with their inquiries to contact them on 101 quoting PR/P19255891.
