CCTV images released as police step up investigations into shoplifting across Sevenoaks

Police have issued CCTV images as part of an investigation into shoplifting and theft offences across the Sevenoaks district.

The images relate to separate and unrelated incidents which have been reported since the start of the year.

They are alleged to have left the store with the full trolley, without paying.

Officers would like to speak to the man and woman pictured in the top left image.

Police are also investigating after a shopper is alleged to entered the Tesco store in Aisher Way, Riverhead, on 21 January, filled a trolley with £100 worth of goods and also left without paying.

It is believed the woman pictured (top right) can assist the investigation.

Kent Police is investigating reported thefts in Westerham, including that of a customer’s mobile phone at a Costa Coffee on The Green, Westerham, on February 11.

Members of the public are being asked to help identify the man who is pictured wearing a hooded top.

On March 3 around £75 worth of groceries were allegedly stolen from a Co-op store in Westerham High Street.

Officers believe a man and a woman (pictured bottom right) may hold important information which could help their enquiries.

Superintendent Pete Steenhuis, of Kent Police’s West Division Local Policing Team, said: "There is no such thing as a victimless crime - shoplifting results in the cost always being passed on to genuine customers.

"We believe the people pictured may have important information to help us in our investigations so I would urge anyone who recognises them or has any other information to get in touch."
