Sevenoaks 'medical incident' sparks police probe

A police investigation has been launched after a young woman was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

Officers were called at about 10pm on Saturday to assist paramedics with a medical incident in Bentley's Meadow in Seal, Sevenoaks.

The woman, who is in her 20s, remains in a critical condition as detectives continue their investigation into the incident.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to assist the South East Coast Ambulance Service at the scene of a medical incident in Bentley’s Meadow.

"A woman had fallen unwell and was taken to a local hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

"Officers remain at the scene today while enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident continue."

A neighbour has told KentOnline that forensics teams were spotted entering a property - which has been sealed by police - along the road yesterday.

She added: "There's been a heavy police presence for the last 24 hours. It's very unnerving."
