New Sevenoaks Bat and Ball Centre open days go online

Sevenoaks council had been planning to offer the public the chance to visit the newly created Bat and Ball Community Centre after its official opening on Wednesday.

Sadly, with Kent moving into Tier 3 Covid regulations that will no longer be possible.

So instead the council is offering residents the chance to take a virtual tour of the building by clicking on this link.

The 3D digital scan of the facility as been created by the contractors, the BJF Group.

The £3m project has seen a new community centre created from the existing 30-year-old Sevenoaks Community Centre, next to the Bat and Ball Station.

It includes two large halls, a meeting room, kitchen and lobby. Outside there is multi-use games area for tennis, netball and 5-a-side football.
