Kent Police spokesman James Walker said: "The driver is said to have threatened the victim with a weapon during a short exchange."

He added: "The vehicle is reported to have a red trim and a defective headlight on the passenger side."

Police are hunting the driver who is also in his 20s, white, slim and with short, blond hair.

The incident happened at 9pm on Friday, April 9. Officers have spoken to several witnesses and reviewed available CCTV.

But they are now appealing for any dash camera or privately-held CCTV footage which might show the suspect vehicle travelling around the area between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on that day.
