Stab victims from London remain in hospital after beach rave in Leysdown

Two men stabbed during a beach rave remain in hospital as a suspect arrested in connection with the attack is bailed.

Police were sent to reports of a large gathering in Leysdown on Thursday night, where officers reminded people of the government's advice on social distancing.

At 11.55pm reports were received that two men in their 20s had been assaulted, their injuries consistent with stab wounds.

The pair, who are both from London, were taken to hospital, their injuries described as serious but stable.

Kent Police have confirmed today that the victims are still in hospital, in a stable condition.

A 24-year-old man, also from London, who was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, has been released on bail, pending further enquiries, until July 20.
