Air ambulance called after cyclist collapses in Rowetts Way, Eastchurch

The air ambulance was called to Eastchurch this morning after a cyclist collapsed.

Police initially had reports there had been a crash in Rowetts Way at about 10.10am.

But when emergency services arrived they found a man had suffered a medical episode while on his bike.

He was taken by land ambulance to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

The road was clear by 11.30am.
