Crash outside Sheerness police station and Domino's leads to assault as woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving

A man was reportedly assaulted following a car crash outside a police station and a Domino's.

Police were called to Millennium Way, Sheerness, at 3.35pm yesterday after a collision involving two cars and suspected road rage incident.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended and were told that, following the collision, a male passenger from one of the vehicles had assaulted a male passenger from the other vehicle, before leaving the scene on foot."

A 30-year-old woman from the area was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken into custody.

No other arrests have been made.

Police are carrying out inquiries and have appealed for witnesses.
