Broken-down vehicle caused rush-hour delays on Sheppey Crossing

The Sittingbourne-bound carriageway of the A249 Swale crossing has reopened after a vehicle broke down.

The road was shut from the A2500 Lower Road (Leysdown turn-off, Queenborough) to Old Ferry Road (Lower Halstow turn-off, Iwade) with congestion stretching back to Minster-On-Sea.
