Fire in bedroom, Belgrave Rod Minster, Sheppey

Fire crews were sent out to deal with a blaze in a bedroom.

It happened yesterday evening at Belgrave Road in Minster, Sheppey.

Crews were initially called to reports of of smoke coming from the bedroom window of a two-storey home

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus set to putting out the fire with high-pressure hoses and fans designed to drive smoke and fumes from buildings.

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "There are were reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire has not yet been established."

Three fire engines were called out just after 6pm and were at the scene for less than an hour.
