Gang of teenagers threaten man with knife in Telescope Alley, Sheerness - witnesses sought

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man reported being threatened with a knife.

The incident is believed to have occurred in Telescope Alley, Clyde Street, Sheerness on Saturday between 8.40pm and 8.50pm.

The victim was walking home when he was approached by a group of four teenagers who started asking him if he had any drugs he could give them.

When the victim said no the group became aggressive and demanded his mobile phone.

One of the suspects is alleged to have threatened the victim with a large knife and another teenager punched the victim in the head before the group walked away.

The suspects are described as white and aged 14 to 16.

One teen is described as having short blond hair, was around 5ft 8in and was wearing a black hooded jacket, grey jogging bottoms, black gloves and trainers. He had a large knife with a decorated handle.

Another teen is described as being 5ft 8in with black hair, thick eyebrows and wearing dark clothing.

The third suspect is described as wearing dark clothing and being around 5ft 5in. The fourth teenager is described as wearing a black jacket and being around 6ft.
