A motorcyclist is believed to have been hurt following an accident on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 3.45pm at the Cowstead Corner roundabout, near the Kingsferry Bridge, Queenborough.

A number of emergency response vehicles attended, with police closing one lane of Lower Road, Minster for just over an hour.

A police spokesman said: "The rider of a grey Honda came off his bike near the roundabout.

"He was taken to a local hospital as a precaution."
