Plough Road in Minster will close for up to three days next month.
It will close on March 15 to allow water mains connection work to be carried out in the area.
It will affect the section adjacent to Old Plough Inn.
Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes via Plough Road, Warden Road, High Street, Lower Road, Eastchurch Road and Chequers Road.
