Sheppey head coach Peter Olliver has warned his team about becoming complacent.

Olliver's battlers face bottom club Old Olavians on Saturday bidding to keep the pressure on leaders Sittingbourne.

Their big rivals lead the way in Kent 1 and Olliver knows his team need to maintain their form leading up to the meeting between the sides on December 18.

"That's the crunch game and we're looking forward to it," said Olliver (pictured).

"I've said to the lads that every game up until the Christmas break is now a potential banana skin for us. We don't want to let the arrogance turn to us being conceited.

"We play with good arrogance and we just have to make sure in those first 20 minutes of games, we blitz it."

Old Olavians are on negative points in the league and have lost every game so far.

Olliver still won't be taking them lightly.

He said: "They've been getting beaten up recently but they are a funny side and it all depends on who they have got out and whether their university boys are playing."

Graham Kelly is likely to miss the matchwith a hamstring strain but Dylan Davis returns after being unavailable last weekend.
