Snow artists were left disappointed after their creations were destroyed overnight.

Brothers Martin, 23, and Jordan, 17, Frostick, of Coronation Road, Sheerness, built a giant snowman in the grounds of the Isle of Sheppey Academy West site in Jefferson Road, Sheerness, on Sunday.

Martin said: “I’m about 6ft 5in so as you can see this is quite a large snowman.”

However, the pair were shocked when they returned to check on their approximately 9ft tall work of art and found it was obliterated.

At Abbey Rise in Minster, 10-year-old Marcus Louch had a lovely time building a snowman - complete with mohican 'hair’ and carrot nose - with his dad Steve on Sunday.

Steve said: “Marcus was sad the next day as someone chopped its head off.”
