A football shirt signed by Spurs first team players, including Peter Crouch and Luka Modric and manager Harry Redknapp, is to be auctioned for charity.

The shirt has been donated for an exhibition darts match at Sheerness East Working Men’s Club in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Organiser George Ball said: “We have lost two great dart players to cancer in recent weeks, Bill Ratcliff and Malcolm MacDougall, and the event is very important to the darts community.

“It would be great to have the support of darts players across Sheppey on the day.”

The exhibition match will feature double British Darts Organisation champion Ted Hankey, known as The Count, and it takes place at the Queenborough Road club on Friday, September 16 at 7pm.

There are still three places available for players and Mr Ball is also appealing to local businesses for raffle prizes.
