A crash involving two cars blocked a main route into town.

Police were called to the accident in Halfway Road, Halfway, shortly before 10.30am.

It happened near to the junction with Power Station Road, heading towards Sheerness.

A police spokesman said: "No serious injuries have been reported.

"However the road is currently blocked while the vehicles await recovery."

Officers left shortly before 12.30pm.
