A public consultation about the future of a town landmark is due to finish next week.

Last month we reported that plans had been drawn up on how best to regenerate Trinity Road in Sheerness.

The area includes the derelict water tower, former Alldays store, empty council offices, car park and Island Partnership.

Swale council has had three preferred options for which plans have been put together by DesignScape.

A consultation was launched to give residents a chance to have their say on which proposal they thought was best.

It had been due to close at the end of September but was extended to next Wednesday.

The area will be known as the Water Tower Quarter and in some of the options, parts of the water tower and other buildings in the area would be demolished.

There are also plans to create pop up shops or a cafe or bar as part of some of the proposals.

  • You have until the end of Wednesdayto have your say.
