Woman, 21, faces stabbing charge

A SHEPPEY woman arrested after a stabbing incident at Sheerness High Street has been

charged with causing grievous bodily harm. The woman, aged 21, who lives in the High Street, has been was bailed by Sittingbourne magistrates until December 17.

A 30-year-old man suffered rib injuries and stab wounds to his chest and arm during the incident on Thursday evening at premises in the High Street.

A paramedic team took the victim to Medway Hospital for surgery. He was on a ventilator for a while but has since been discharged.
