Woman in her 60s slips near Minster Cliffs

A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital after slipping on Minster Cliffs.

South East Coast Ambulance Service were called at around 2pm today.

Paramedics and a Hazardous Area Response Team were sent to the corner of The Leas and Seaside Avenue, which was as close they could get to scene of the accident.

The patient is believed to have fallen from a height of less than 12ft.

She is reported as having pains in her leg and was not able to stand.

An ambulance took her to Medway Maritime Hospital, Gillingham, at around 3pm.
