Air ambulance called to Sittingbourne after assault in Adelaide Drive

An air ambulance and emergency services are on the scene of a major incident.

Police have confirmed they are attending an assault in Adelaide Drive, Sittingbourne.

The incident happened at around 4.30pm but the area is still suffering traffic chaos, with Wises Lane closed and heavy congestion along Brisbane Lane.

UPDATE: Police have since confirmed a girl was stabbed.
