Drivers suffered long delays on the M2 after a rush-hour crash.

It happened on the A249 is led to traffic queuing coastbound on the motorway at Junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Maidstone.

Delays were stretching all the way back to Junction 4 for Gillingham.

The smash also caused congestion to the Stockbury roundabout.

Police said they could not find any record of them being called.
