Desperate relatives of a missing man from Kent are pleading for him to make contact with them this Christmas.

Matthew Green, of Rock Road, Sittingbourne, was last seen by his parents on the evening of 8 April 8.

The 26-year-old said he was going away for the weekend to visit friends in Mile End in London.

But when he didn’t return home after the weekend, he was reported missing to police.

Matthew is believed to have taken his passport, driving licence and cash with him.

His parents are desperate to hear from him, in the hope that they could be reunited this Christmas.

His mum, Pauline Green said: "Having someone you love go missing is one of the worst feelings in the world.

"This Christmas wont be the same without Matthew and we are desperate just to know that he is safe.

"If he or anyone who knows of his whereabouts sees this message I would urge them to make contact, even if it’s just to the police to let us know he is out there.

"We certainly hope he will walk through the door at Christmas that’s what I want more than anything. It’s the best present I could wish for."

Matthew’s described as being white, having a shaved head, brown eyes and is of slim build.

He has three tattoos on his upper arm.
