Future is talk of the town forum

The future of Sittingbourne will be at the top of the agenda when the town’s Local Engagement Forum meets tonight (Thursday).

Swale council’s regeneration director, Pete Raine, will give an update on the Sittingbourne town centre development proposals and property consultants Essential Land will talk about progress on the Sittingbourne Mill and wharf site.

The Milton Creek Gateway will also be under discussion.

The public are invited to raise issues with councillors, the police, fire brigade and other organisations from 6.30pm.

The meeting will be held at Borden Grammar School, Avenue of Remembrance, Sittingbourne.
