A mum was “fuming” after finding her rear window had been smashed while she was at the dentist’s.
Sarah Hackman has been left with a bill of £115 after her Volkswagon Up was damaged in Church Road, Murston, near Sittingbourne.
The 34-year-old had parked there at 8am last Thursday (September 14).
On her return from her dentist appointment at Hilton Dentistry, three hours later, she said she saw “glass falling from the shattered window”.
The Bapchild resident was unable to see the culprits and says she “doesn't understand” why her car was targeted as nothing was taken from the vehicle.
She said: “I am so annoyed as it is just spiteful.
“I am currently paying for my daughter's nursery lessons so it's a payout that I didn't need.
“Luckily my insurance was able to cover most of the cost, which would have been around £1,000.”
Sarah added that she “didn’t find any sort of projectiles”.
Due to the damage, she was unable to drive for almost a week while she waited for repairs.
Police are carrying out inquiries.
A spokesman said: “No suspects have so far been identified but should further information become available then officers will investigate accordingly.”
