A POST mortem was due to have been carried out on Wednesday on a 45-year-old man who died in a car fire at a fencing yard in Iwade.

Police could not confirm his identity until a coroner’s inquest has been opened.

Kent Fire and Rescue was called to the yard in Raspberry Hill Lane last Thursday morning and spent almost an hour battling the flames.
