Man freed from car after crash on A2 Keycol Hill, Bobbing

A man has been rescued from a car after a crash near Sittingbourne.

Ambulance, police and fire services were called to the accident, involving a car and a van, on the A2 Keycol Hill.

It had happened near Rook Lane, Bobbing, at about 12.20pm.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two fire engines attended and crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the car roof and free a man trapped inside.

"He was handed into the care of paramedics."

Police say the road remains partially obstructed and motorists may encounter delays.

A spokesman added: "At present, no serious injuries have been reported."
