Sheppey burglary suspect arrested near Stockbury roundabout on A249

A 25-year-old is in police custody after being stopped by officers on the A249 near the Stockbury roundabout.

The man, who was arrested around 10pm yesterday, is being held in connection with a burglary on the Isle of Sheppey.

It is understood the alleged offence took place in Minster on Wednesday night.
