The “tremendous support” of families braving windy weather helped raise £1,500 for Regis Manor Primary School.
The fair took place on Saturday on the school field and provided visitors with a range of fun activities.
Children showcased their dancing skills in the arena and treated the audience to maypole dancing and a gymnastic routine.
Stalls included fete favourites from face painting, the tombola and coconut shy. Sittingbourne FC also visited with its mascot Rory the Lion.
People were encouraged to choose an envelope from the washing line which contained prizes from a family ticket to Leeds Castle, P&O ferry tickets and a meal for four at the greyhound races.
Friends of Regis Manor (FORM) spokesman Mel Deacon was pleased the school managed to double its takings from last year.
Miss Deacon said: “I’m really pleased with the support from parents, teachers, helpers and everybody who came on the day.”
Some of the money will pay for coaches to take children on a school trip, while the rest will be put towards buying a defibrillator.
The cake stall proved the most popular stand with all the donations selling out.
Despite cutting the event by an hour, head of the school Claire Woods felt this year was more successful as the atmosphere was busier for a shorter period of time.
She said: “We should thank the tremendous support of the friends and family who came, and to FORM who helped organise the event.”
