Sittingbourne boss Gary Abbott is hoping his players don’t pay too much attention to the Ryman League Division 1 South table ahead of their game at bottom side Horsham YMCA on Saturday.

"It’s going to be tough and I’m hoping the boys haven’t been looking at the table like I have and see how many goals they’ve let in," said Abbott (pictured).

"They might get it into their mind that they just have to turn up. That happened to us last year and we lost to the bottom five clubs.

"We need to approach the game in the right way and I would take a 1-0 now. I hope we’ve learnt our lessons.

"It will be tough because they are fighting for their lives and if we are not on our game we’ll get beaten."

Joe Horlock (back) remains Abbott’s only injury concern.
