Three men have been arrested by British Transport Police after an attack in Sittingbourne.

The men were held in cells last night after a report that a person was assaulted and had property stolen from him.

A tweet from British Transport Police said: "Last night officers arrested three males for robbery at #sittingbourne after a person was assaulted and had personal property taken from him.

"All three will be dealt with by our criminal investigation department this morning."

BTP and Kent Police have been asked for further details.
