Train services are back up and running after a fire caused disruption.

Buses had replaced train services between Sittingbourne and Sheerness, but a full service was resumed on the railway this morning.

The disruption was caused after a fire broke out on the track in Murston on Tuesday morning.

Network Rail carried out emergency engineering works and a bus replacement service was also in operation between Gillingham and Faversham.
