Two people have been arrested following a police chase.

Kent Police were notified by their colleagues in Essex of a reported stolen vehicle being pursued into the county.

Officers were chasing the car at around 1am, with the help of the police helicopter.

It was later stopped near Rectory Road, Sittingbourne.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of stealing a car.
