Dashcam footage may hold clues to the whereabouts of 1970 Dodge Coronet classic car stolen from Iwade

Is this footage of the one-of-a-kind American car after it was stolen earlier this week?

Dashcam footage given to KentOnline appears to show the 1970 Dodge Coronet casually driving away from where it was taken on the Old Ferry Road, Iwade.

The video appeared in a post on Facebook and claims the distinctive Dodge was spotted on the A249 near Morrisons in Queenborough heading towards Maidstone just before 7pm on Monday.

Owner of the American ‘muscle’ car Richard Harvey made an appeal for information on Tuesday when his £15,000 vehicle went missing.

He said his heart sank when he heard the news.

“It’s a big loss to my family as I was hoping to use it for my daughter’s wedding this year but that can’t happen now.

“There's no other like it in the UK and it means more to me than any new car or amount of money ever will.”

Police confirmed they were aware of the theft and are appealing for witnesses.
