Ryman League Sittingbourne are chasing new signings to help halt their slide

Sittingbourne boss Nick Davis is hopeful of making three new signings by the weekend.

Davis wants help for his young squad who have dropped from fifth place to 21st in Ryman League Division 1 South after six defeats in a row.

They’ve lost nine of their last 10 games in all competitions and Davis is desperate to halt the slump at South Park on Saturday.

He said: “Hopefully we can get these three new lads in.

“We just need some new faces. If you look at the Hastings game last week, we had nothing on the bench to change it.

“I still think our strongest XI would put us in the top seven or eight, but we haven’t got that strength in depth.

“A few new faces would spice things up a bit and give us something different."
