Sittingbourne joint-manager Matt Wyatt admits to selection headache as club's leading scorers Joe Taylor and Ryan Golding return from suspension

A first away win since January has left Sittingbourne joint-managers Matt Wyatt and Nick Davis facing their biggest decision since taking charge.

Brickies won 3-0 at Crawley Down last weekend without suspended leading scorers Joe Taylor and Ryan Golding, who have nine and five goals respectively.

But the pair, who were replaced by Omar Folkes and Luke Girt, are available for the Kent derby at Ramsgate on Saturday as Brickies look to build on a first away victory in 17 matches.

Wyatt said: “Me and Nick need to sit down and have a chat about things. Whether we bring back Taylor and Golding is probably the biggest decision we’ve had to make since taking over.

“Taylor has been exceptional and Golding is starting to show last season’s form. At the same time, the 14 players involved at Crawley are entitled to say ‘gaffer, we’ve won 3-0 away and deserve to keep the shirt.’

“Mind you, I’d rather be sat here with this problem than talking about another away defeat.”

Brickies face two games in three days, with the Ramsgate fixture followed by a visit to Ryman League, Division 1 South high-fliers Hastings on Monday.

Defender Ollie Gray could return at former club Ramsgate after more than two months on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder, but is likely to start on the bench.
