The piece of vintage farming equipment, which dates back to 1901, is believed to have been taken at around 7pm on Wednesday, August 23.

Officers believe that a large vehicle such as a van or flat bed truck would have been needed to transport the heavy wheel away and ask that anyone who might have seen something suspicious in the area around that time, to come forward.

Witnesses should call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting 46/153564/23.
