Yado Mambo has become the third player to leave Margate since manager Nikki Bull was asked to cut his budget.

The 25-year-old former Charlton Athletic defender has, as expected, moved to Gate's Vanarama National League South rivals Bishop's Stortford.

His departure follows those of strikers Michael Thalassitis (Hemel Hempstead) and Elliott Buchanan, whose move to Chelmsford City was confirmed on Wednesday night.

London-born Mambo signed for the Blues at the end of May after seeing his time at previous club Hayes & Yeading disrupted by injury. He was a regular member of Bull's squad and scored in the 3-1 home win over Weston-Super-Mare on August 27.

Beleaguered manager Bull says he expects Adam Cash and Daniel Akindayini to go out on loan before the weekend, most likely to Leatherhead.
