Newly-promoted Margate have added defender Glenn Wilson to their squad.

The 29-year-old was released by Aldershot Town at the end of last season, having made 48 appearances for the Shots in the Vanarama Conference.

Wilson has also played for Crawley Town, Rushden & Diamonds and Gateshead and he was in the Salisbury side which beat Dover in the 2013 Conference South play-off final.

He joins fellow new signings Solomon Taiwo, Nathan Green and Danny Green in Margate manager Terry Brown's squad for next season in Vanarama National League South.
