CCTV released in hunt for thief who stole meat from Co-op in York Parade, Tonbridge

Police are hunting a thief who stole meat from a Co-op in Tonbridge, before returning two days later to do it again.

A man is said to have filled a basket at the store in York Parade with a number of high value items on Tuesday, January 21 before leaving the shop without making any attempt to pay.

The same person is reported to have returned on Thursday, January 23, when he filled a bag he was carrying with several meat products.

As he left the store the suspect verbally abused a member of staff who had followed and challenged him.

Officers have now released CCTV images of a man who may have important information as part of the investigation.
