Bridge Trust's warehouse, formerly in Tonbridge re-opens in Paddock Wood

A homeless charity has celebrated the opening of a new furniture warehouse - after being uprooted from its previous home by a McDonald's drive-thru.

The Pimms and champagne glasses came out to welcome the public to the Bridge Trust's new premises in Paddock Wood.

A guitarist played some old favourites, a wide spread of canapés and sandwiches were laid out and bubbly was served in the sunshine.

Both the Mayor and Mayoress of Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge and Malling joined in with the event.

Laura and Russell of The Community Show also joined rolling in on their two-wheeled Community Show Mobile.

Visitors got the chance to view the wide range of used furniture for sale in the warehouse.

The opening starts a new venture for The Bridge Trust’s Furniture Warehouse with their new branded name, Bridge Revivals Homestore.
