The new 14,121 sq ft store opened its doors yesterday at 8am in Tonbridge Retail Park.

Launched seven years ago, The Food Warehouse now has more than 150 stores across Britain.

It is now the 5th store in Kent, following branches in Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Broadstairs and Dover.

The food shop is set to create 22 new jobs.

To celebrate the opening, bosses gave away a total of £1,000 in vouchers to the first 100 customers through the door - ready for them to spend in store.
