Tonbridge man charged after reports of women and a child being flashed

A suspect has been charged with indecent exposure after reports of a man flashing victims while wearing women’s clothing.

Police were investigating a series of incidents in and around Priory Wood, Silver Close and Hilltop in Tonbridge between June 12 last year and Monday this week (April 8).

It was reported a man had, on three occasions, exposed himself to two women and a child.

Daniel Wood, 32, of Baltic Road, Tonbridge, was arrested on Tuesday, April 9 and charged with three counts of exposure.

He was further charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice.

Wood appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 10 and after pleading not guilty was remanded in custody.

A trial is scheduled to take place at the same court on May 22.
