Stuart Puttock set to be charged with causing Dicken Reynold's death

A man is set to be charged with causing the death of a Hadlow father-of-two in a crash which closed a road for five hours.

Dicken Reynolds, 55, was killed when a Jeep Cherokee and a Ford Focus collided in London Road, Hildenborough in September.

The crash happened between Morleys roundabout and Mill Lane. An air ambulance was called but Mr Reynolds was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Now, Stuart Puttock of Meadow Bank, Leigh is set to be charged with causing Mr Reynolds' death through careless or inconsiderate driving.

The 36-year-old has been summonsed to appear before the bench at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Monday where the charge will be formally put to him.

At the time of his death Mr Reynolds' family released an emotional tribute.

They said: "Dicken was a loving Dad, caring brother and generous friend. His happiness in life was seeing those he loved happy and content.
