Many people are struggling to find something worthwhile to do while stuck at home during the Covid lockdown.

But while some of us are content to sit on the sofa and watch Married at First Sight Australia, others - like Tonbridge resident Neil Frost - have decided to do something a little more creative with their time.

Mr Frost, 49, a former pupil of Hugh Christie School, normally runs a company called Musik Matters, where he leads group and individual music sessions in care homes as a form of entertainment and therapy for the residents.

Covid of course has put a stop to that.

So instead, he had been using his time to write a batch of new original material.

The result is Dreamers, an album of 13 tracks, which Mr Frost said are "a lyrical reflection of the times we now find ourselves living in."

Musically it is a British sounding album with influences from a variety of genres.

Mr Frost has pressed 100 signed, limited edition CDs and plans to release a digital version of the album with the help of top producer 5aint on Valentine's Day (February 14).

The title track Dreamers has already become United DJ’s Radio show's power-play track of the week.

But Mr Frost has not come fresh to the music world.

He is one of three musical brothers, along with Preston and Gary.

They are all musicians, taught initially by their father Barrie Frost who also recorded original music in the 60s and 70s.

They first played together as The Frost Brothers, and later, while still a teenager, Neil formed his own covers band called The Release which had numerous gigs for private and corporate functions across the south east.

In 2011, he linked up again with brother Gary to form Searching for Pie, playing their own original music, and the two were currently performing together - pre-Covid - in MoreTvicar.

Meanwhile brother Preston now plays guitar with The Curb Pilots.

Neil Frost is joined on Dreamers by brother Gary and other local musicians Steve Dodds, Carl Ebbage, Toby Boyle and James Sedge.
