A safe hidden behind a reptile tank containing pet snakes has been found by officers searching a house.

Yesterday a search warrant for drugs was executed at a private address in Higham Wood.

While searching, the officers found the safe hidden behind a false wall within a glass tank containing pet snakes.

A package containing suspected cocaine deals and two mobile phones were seized at the address.

A man and a woman, both in their 30s and from Tonbridge, were arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

They were subsequently released pending further investigation.
