Today, a 17-year-old from Coulsdon in Surrey, who cannot be named for legal reasons because of his age, has appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

He admitted murdering and attempting to rob Mr Waugh.

He also pleaded guilty to robbing two other men, one of £5 and a packet of cigarettes.

The teenager will now be sentenced following the trial of a 16-year-old, who has denied a murder charge.

Mr Waugh was found slumped against a wall by a passer-by after the attack.

The catering assistant had been living in Tonbridge but was born in Tunbridge Wells.

At the time, multiple police cordons were put up around Tonbridge as part of their investigations.
