Tonbridge men arrested after man hit with metal pole at property near Old Kent Road in Paddock Wood

Three people have been arrested after a man needed hospital treatment after being hit with a metal pole.

The trio allegedly assaulted the victim at a property near Old Kent Road, Paddock Wood on Wednesday.

Officers had been called just before 3am to a disturbance.

The man, who knew the suspects, was left with a black eye, cuts, bruising, and swelling to the head and face with reports stating this followed an argument the previous evening.

Investigators have arrested two men in their 30s from Tonbridge, and a 32-year-old from Etchingham, East Sussex, on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

They have since been released on bail until Tuesday, June 18, pending further inquiries.
