Train guard threatened with stun device at Marden Railway Station

A train guard was threatened by a thug wielding a stun device.

The incident happened as the guard challenged a man for not having a valid ticket as a train pulled into Marden Railway Station.

The thug then pulled out a device and arced it at the guard in a threatening manner.

The train departed Marden with the suspect boarding a later service which went to Ashford International.

Officers believe in the CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate the incident.

The incident happened at 8.44pm on Wednesday, November 13, but details have only just been released by police.

Officers investigating are appealing for information and would like to know who the man is.
