No trains between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells after fire by track at High Brooms

Trains have been halted due to a fire that has broken out by a railway track.

The blaze by the line at High Brooms has left services unable to run in either direction between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

Power in the area has been switched off for safety.

Alternative plans are currently being made for passengers.

Rail firm Southeastern wrote on Twitter: "You can use your ticket on Arriva bus routes 402 and 7 and we are arranging rail replacement buses."
